About The Position

Machine Operator – A22 Fab Area 1st Shift Grain & Protein Technologies/GSI Assumption is seeking a talented, passionate, and highly motivated Machine Operator to join our Fab Department. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, programming, and maintaining fabrication machinery to produce high-quality parts with precision, ensuring all specifications and quality standards are met. Your Impact Follow all required safety procedures and work instructions. Set up, adjust, program, calibrate, and perform preventative maintenance on fabrication machines. Produce parts to specification based on job orders while maintaining efficiency. Perform quality checks and inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools. Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues. Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S standards. Adhere to Lean Manufacturing and Quality Management systems. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
2+ years of manual and CNC machine operation preferred.
Basic math and reading skills.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
Experience with precision measuring instruments.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continuously.
Strong communication skills.
