Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team in the Broadview, IL area. This full-time position offers an hourly wage of $17.50 and is designed for individuals who have experience working in a factory setting and operating machinery to produce high-quality products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding both written and verbal instructions to effectively complete the packaging of products. This role requires the ability to operate various manufacturing equipment in a mass/high volume production environment, ensuring that all machinery is functioning correctly and efficiently. As a Machine Operator, you will be expected to set up the machine at the beginning of your shift to ensure it is in proper working order. Throughout your shift, you will perform safety checks and make necessary adjustments to machine components according to finished product specifications. Additionally, you will be responsible for cleaning the machine and performing preventative maintenance to keep it in optimal condition. The role demands a keen ability to manipulate small parts and gauges, as well as the use of thinking and reasoning skills to solve any problems that may arise during production. This position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 2 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., and candidates must be able to attend work as scheduled. The ability to read and write in English, perform basic math problems, and lift up to 55 lbs is essential. You will also be expected to perform the jobs of your team members as needed, ensuring a collaborative and efficient work environment.
