About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used in manufacturing processes, ensuring products are produced to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with machine setup, operation, and troubleshooting, as well as a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a machine operator or in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Strong understanding of machine operation, settings, and troubleshooting.
  • Basic knowledge of machine mechanics and the ability to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs.
  • Ability to inspect and assess machine performance and product quality.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs or more).
  • Knowledge of workplace safety protocols and ability to work in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with specific machines (e.g., CNC, injection molding, packaging machines, etc.)
  • Familiarity with production tracking software or digital machine interfaces.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions and production issues independently.
  • Forklift Certification (if applicable to the role).

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and monitor machinery such as CNC machines, lathes, presses, or other equipment used in the manufacturing process.
  • Monitor machine performance and product quality during the production process.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
  • Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs) while operating machinery.
  • Maintain accurate production logs, including machine settings, production quantities, and quality control checks.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements.
  • Work closely with team members, supervisors, and maintenance staff to meet production goals.
