About The Position

The role of a Production Associate is integral to the manufacturing process, contributing to the successful production of polymer resin pellets for plastic moulding while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• The ability to read, write, and speak English is a requirement.
• Practical experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing tasks in a safe and productive manner related to the production of polymer resin pellets.
• Follow work procedures and manufacturing instructions consistent with established quality standards and work towards meeting production schedules and targets set by the company.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production progress, issues, and potential improvements.
• Responsible for operating various types of machinery and equipment used in the manufacturing process and perform visual inspections to check the quality of the resin pellets being produced.
• Immediately report any malfunction, quality concerns, or safety hazards.
• Work with the production technician to support any work required to address machine malfunctions.
• Support the technician to troubleshoot and diagnose any equipment or machine problems.
• Support routine maintenance tasks including cleaning equipment and with more extensive repairs or preventative maintenance activities.
• Handle and move materials, parts, and tools efficiently within the production area.
• Ensure proper storage and organization of materials.
• Maintain production records including logs of machine performance, production output, and quality issues.
