Franklin Foods' award-winning products are used and loved by industrial, institutional, foodservice, private label, supermarket, and club store accounts across the United States and in numerous international markets. The role of Machine Operator is responsible for the setup, operation, clean up, and general maintenance of the equipment associated with the packing of the product. Entry level encouraged to apply. This role includes a 90-day trial period. The Machine Operator will operate production line equipment including packers, positive pumps, processors, coders, weight scales, metal detectors, and labelers to mix and pack retail branded and private label products. The operator will confirm production schedule and product specifications with the Supervisor and set up equipment for production including setting up tanks, assembling positive pumps, ingredient feeder, and all other necessary equipment. The operator will also be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work area between flavors, inspecting product for specification, and adhering to company safety policies. Additionally, the Machine Operator will assist the Supervisor in building a strong team, taking responsibility for the production crew during the Supervisor's absence, and performing other duties on the line as necessary. This position is crucial in contributing to the company goal of providing customers with cost-effective, super-premium products and outstanding customer service.
