The Packer/Palletizer position involves a variety of essential functions that require proficiency in all packing duties. The role includes assisting in the training of new team members, rotating into different positions as needed, and performing inspections and sanitation of equipment at the start of shifts. Additionally, the position requires participation in preventative maintenance, quality checks, and maintaining good run adjustments. The Packer/Palletizer must also be familiar with JDE and Docushare systems relevant to their responsibilities, complete minor and major machine changeovers, and communicate effectively with oncoming shifts. Compliance with 6S standards and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory. The role also includes cleaning assigned areas to maintain cGMP standards and performing other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
