Comunale can work in virtually every market sector and facility type. The job title is Machine Operator / Welder - Fabrication Shop - 2nd Shift. The individual will be responsible for operating a weld machine on a production line welding a variety of pipe while meeting daily production goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required
• 2-3 years of welding experience is required, with skill levels to obtain a 2G
• Basic computer skills are required

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints/sketches and prepare material accordingly
• Adjust weld parameters and machine settings to ensure weld(s) conform with all specifications
• Inspect weld(s) for any non-conformance, missing welds, and repair or rework as necessary, also alerting other employees if necessary
• Perform daily machine maintenance
• Inspect pipe for any quality issues and that end prep is correct
