Machine Operator V - Bacon Injector 1st Shift
About The Position
Clemens Food Group is seeking skilled and safety-focused Machine Operators to support efficient, high-quality production operations. This position is responsible for the safe operation, setup, maintenance, and performance of production machinery while meeting product quality, yield, and safety standards. Are you looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced production environment? We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in Bacon Production Control and Skilled Labor. In this role, you’ll ensure the safe and efficient operation of production machinery to support continuous, high-quality production runs.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and enter data in English
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
- Lockout/Tagout certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency
Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery safely and efficiently to maintain consistent output
- Perform routine maintenance including blade changes, setup, cleaning, and equipment takedown
- Monitor and adjust machines to meet product specifications, maximize quality, and improve yield
- Complete accurate production records including weight sheets, label verifications, run times, and man-hour logs
- Follow all Lockout/Tagout and safety procedures at all times
- Assist with directing workflow and collaborating with team members to achieve daily production goals
- Maintain a thorough understanding of product specifications, profitability, and machinery operations
