About The Position

Join a team of professionals where you will be responsible for setting up, utilizing, and operating assigned lathe, mill, and/or balance CNC machines and supporting machine procedures for the prototyping and production of machined parts. We offer starting pay of $21.00/hour, with a 22% shift differential for 3rd shift, bringing pay to $25.15!

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience in a manufacturing/production environment or running CNC machines is preferred.
  • Knowledge of measuring equipment and good math skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions carefully.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and organization skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry 25-50 pounds or more and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Moderate physical activity requiring agility and manual dexterity, including walking, standing, or bending.

Responsibilities

  • Performing set-up, operation, and accomplish precise alignment of assigned lathe, mill, and balance machines to extremely close tolerances.
  • Accurately perform and document operations and inspections as stated in the Quality Manual.
  • Recognizing deviations in proper machine performance; troubleshoot and implement corrective actions.
  • Working from process sheets, engineering drawings or specifications, sketches and written or oral instructions to machine various products.
  • Performing preventative maintenance and diagnostics on assigned machines.
  • Working in a fast-paced, high volume team environment.
  • Supporting and maintain overall shop efficiency by keeping work areas clean and safe.
  • Demonstrating reliability, dependability, and safety-oriented work.
  • Performing other duties as required based on assignment.
