About The Position

TE Connectivity's Stamping Teams operate assigned automated stamping machinery, ensure component flow, troubleshoot and correct machinery issues to ensure quality and productivity. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma/GED.
  • Must successfully complete a print reading and precision measuring skills review by the position supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Performing scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting the assigned automated stamping machinery, and correcting machinery issues to ensure quality and productivity.
  • Unloading, packing the parts for shipment, removing, clearing the scrap from the press as required, and accurately documenting the number of parts and their specifications.
  • Maintaining a safe work environment, following the standard operating procedures, regulations regarding hazardous material, and other safety regulations for the machines and equipment.
  • Supporting periodic inspections and tests to evaluate the condition of different machine parts; sharing critical feedback with engineers and supervisors.
  • Move within a team setting to keep stamping presses running.
  • Perform all the quality checks necessary to produce quality product.
  • Make stock changes and stock dies.
  • Assist in setting up auxiliary equipment needed to run presses.
  • Remove jams and perform minor die repair work.
