We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Machine Operator - Production / Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the day-to-day production requirements, ensuring products are assembled and prepared for shipment with the highest quality standards. Your role will involve operating manufacturing machines, packaging finished products, organizing inventory, and maintaining a safe working environment. Additionally, you will work with roll forming processes, where a long strip of material, typically aluminum, is manipulated into a desired shape using consecutive sets of mated rolls to form a complex profile.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in a production or warehouse environment preferred
Familiarity with operating manufacturing machinery and forklifts
Commitment to safety and quality standards
Teamwork: Collaborate closely with all Alumi-Cover Associates on the production team and cross-functional teams (planning, delivery, sales)
Production Efficiency: Follow Alumi-Cover processes to attain efficient production runs
Physical Stamina: Capable of standing for extended periods, working in non-climate-controlled spaces, and lifting objects within an established weight limit
Accuracy: Ability to follow directions accurately and attention to detail
Organization: Strong organizational skills for managing inventory and production materials
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Time Management: Effective time management skills
Technical Skills: Good technical and mechanical skills

Responsibilities

Monitor the efficiency of the production line to ensure timely job completion and shipment
Assemble and prepare goods for shipment
Complete quality assurance testing on goods and products
Maintain proper storage for material and product inventory in and around the production machines
Organize inventory in an easy-to-access process
Utilize machinery such as forklifts to load orders
In conjunction with the maintenance team, maintain the quality and upkeep of warehouse equipment including machinery
Move materials or completed products and packages to established locations
Perform all other duties as assigned by Management
