Requirements

  • 2 years of manufacturing experience (Trade school graduates encouraged to apply)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Steel-toe shoes required
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and minor maintenance abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and defect identification
  • Ability to read safety rules, operating instructions, and technical documents
  • Comfortable working independently and within a team
  • 3+ years in machining, tool & die, or related mechanical setup
  • Strong understanding of press operations and die safety
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and blueprints
  • Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, and precision tools
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery
  • Assemble components and parts with accuracy
  • Perform deburring and finishing work
  • Complete inspections on materials and products
  • Conduct routine machine cleaning and maintenance
  • Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals
  • Maintain accurate production and quality records
  • Set up presses, mills, roller markers, threading machines, and other equipment
  • Perform first-article inspections alongside Quality
  • Document setups, maintenance, and tooling adjustments
  • Troubleshoot machinery and assist operators
  • Support process improvements to enhance production flow
  • Conduct light machine maintenance to prevent downtime
