About The Position

The position involves embracing Lean Manufacturing operating principles to achieve customer satisfaction and operating efficiency. The role requires developing operating systems and methods aimed at the continual reduction of waste, inventory, and defects. The candidate will be responsible for operating all required presses, setting up and changing over all required machines, and using various hand tools. Additionally, the role includes monitoring machines to ensure proper operation, performing routine maintenance and cleanup of machines as necessary, and conducting quality audit checks as required by standard work. The candidate will also be responsible for moving finished products to aid in the flow of production and maintaining a clean and orderly work station by applying the principles of 5S. Other job duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to work on all required machinery
• General knowledge of production methods and machinery
• Ability to push, pull or lift up to 50lbs
• Able to stand continually for shift duration while working on certain machines
• Ability to work overtime when scheduled
• Ability to work safely to ensure the safety of yourself and those working around you
