About The Position

This position is responsible for operate department specific wet process equipment: - Plating, automatic plate lines, deposition, strip, etch, reflow and ASF. Duties/Responsibilities: Follow all short sheets, standard operating procedures and Amphenol's company safety regulations. Assist in department specific preventative maintenance schedules. Time execution of multiple tasks and instructions to meet production deadlines. Involvement with continuous improvement activities as needed. Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers and management. This position may require overtime for coverage on alternate shifts and weekends. May be required to cross train in other departments. Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be a motivated self-starter, be independent, work with limited supervision.
  • Ability to read and follow all short sheets/customer documents.
  • Participate in Chemical Awareness and Chemical Handling certifications.
  • Required to pass respirator physical?
  • Ability to work standing for extended periods of time and able to lift up to 50 lbs. safely.
  • Basic computer experience a plus - Microsoft Office-Outlook/Word/Excel.
  • The candidate must be able to legally work in the United States; we are unable to provide sponsorship.
  • Position requires candidate to be a U.S. person as defined in ITAR, 22 CFR 120.15 (U.S. Citizenship or Resident Alien Status) and defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a) (20).

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ Years PCB experience with Prior Plating experience preferred.
