Requirements

• High school diploma/GED required
• 2 years of machining experience (Saw Machine experience a plus)
• Previous forklift experience
• Ability to read blueprints and machine instructions
• Basic math skills and ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Operate Plate Saw Machines to cut metal to length
• Operate cranes, forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Pull, inspect and verify product before processing
• Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, indicators, and scales for accurate inspections
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and adjust machine settings as needed
• Assist in the packaging of material per written work instructions and work order
• Work from blueprints, machine instructions, and specifications
• Meet production goals for quality, cycle time, and output
• Provide support and mentorship to junior team members as needed
