About The Position

The position involves operating machinery and instructing line help to safely meet production, customer, and company goals and requirements. The role supports the company's core values, participates in a safe work environment, and completes safety observations. Responsibilities include inspecting equipment for safety, reading and understanding production orders, meeting productivity and quality requirements, and maintaining good communication with the team, supervisor, and management. The position requires standing and walking for 8 to 12 hours daily, repetitive climbing on and off equipment and ladders, and working in varying and extreme conditions.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in safe and efficient operation
  • Competent in all aspects of line equipment, processes, and procedures
  • Detail and quality oriented
  • Verifiable dependability and energetic
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic computer skills (Email, Internet, Excel, Word)
  • Experience with hand tools, wrenches, banding equipment, and nail guns
  • Ability to read a tape measure and other measuring devices
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
  • Forklift and crane experience is a plus and must be trainable
  • Flexible with working overtime and weekends when needed
