Cenveo Worldwide Limited is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Machine Operator (Packer) to join our manufacturing facility in Smyrna, GA. This position is crucial to our operations as it involves the handling and packing of envelopes, ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading paper onto automatic hand-fed or web envelope folding machines and packing the finished products efficiently. This role requires a commitment to quality inspection, where the operator will inspect the quality of envelopes and labels, report any variances to key personnel, and ensure that production orders and schedules are adhered to. The Machine Operator will also be responsible for performing rework on finished products as necessary and maintaining a clean work area throughout their shift. The position operates on a 3rd shift schedule from 11 PM to 7 AM, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of Saturday work during busy seasons based on business needs. The pay for this role is $15.97 per hour, with an additional $1 per hour shift premium. Candidates must be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating mental alertness and the ability to keep up with high-speed delivery outputs while standing for the duration of their shift. The role also requires physical stamina, as operators must be able to lift up to 55 pounds and perform manual dexterity tasks such as grasping objects and feeding paper into machines. Exposure to various working conditions, including noise and hazardous materials, is also a part of this job.
