About The Position
Up-North Plastics, Inc. is currently seeking dedicated Machine Operator Trainees to join our expanding production team. With the recent establishment of a second facility, we are looking to fill positions for our 12-hour night shift. Our company specializes in producing a variety of polyethylene products, including high-quality trash bags, construction films, and agricultural films. As a Machine Operator Trainee, you will undergo a comprehensive training period where you will work closely with experienced trainers to learn the essential skills required for the role. This includes packaging products, operating production equipment, identifying product issues, and learning to operate a forklift. After completing your training, you will be responsible for operating production lines, monitoring and checking film quality, and maintaining a clean and orderly work area. Additional duties may be assigned by management as necessary. This position offers a competitive starting pay of $20.50 per hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health and dental insurance, paid vacations, and a 401(k) plan.
