Loparex is a leading global manufacturer of silicone release liners, partnering with some of the world's largest manufacturers to create world-class products used in various industries including branding, packaging, hygiene, medical supplies, automotive, electronic components, and aviation. Our Hammond, Wisconsin factory is looking for both new and experienced Machine Operators to join our team. We offer onsite, hands-on training for those new to the manufacturing industry, and all team members are eligible for multiple opportunities for growth, learning, and development. The position operates on a night shift schedule from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM, following a 2-2-3 schedule with every other Friday to Sunday off. The base pay rate is $19.50 hourly, with additional premiums based on the schedule and machine operation.

  • Operate the machine; this includes start-up, changeover, shutdown and daily operation.
  • Observe and monitor machine for defects during operation.
  • Identify and correct problems on machine. Notify appropriate personnel of any operational issues.
  • Use computer to enter valid information and to print out roll labels.
  • Perform routine quality testing on product.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area, including the equipment.
  • Follow company safety procedures.
  • Must have regular consistent attendance.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, productivity and customers.
  • Requires the ability to read and write, follow verbal and written instructions, use basic math, take accurate measurements and use hand tools.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong interpersonal and team skills.
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand/walk for 12 hours.
