You will be responsible for setting up and operating various mailroom equipment at our TBG Online Division facility. You will be running small format bindery machinery for customer goods that require bindery work before they are sorted and mailed to the client. You will be expected to complete the mailing tasks in accordance with standards set by the United States Post Service, and by following and adhering to the specific client requirements. Shifts available: 6:00 am - 6:00 pm, Thursday through Saturday A variety of these traits will help land you this job if you have: a high school diploma or GED minimum of 3-5 years in experience in the printing industry as a mailroom specialist is a bonus On top of that you must: possess a thorough and organized approach to your work pay close attention to details on every project have basic computer skills, including Pace and Google Suite be self-motivated, a fast learner, and show initiative to seek out customer and corporate needs plan, prioritize, coordinate, and manage your work complete projects accurately within deadlines, while meeting Company quality standards apply effective time management and self-management skills understand and maintain the confidential nature of the company, employee and customer information be flexible to change In this position you'll: produce and sort direct mail process mail statements. follow standard practices required by the United States Postal Service complete the job successfully and provide a quality product the customer will want to order again run the bindery equipment in a small format capacity run existing bindery equipment and be open to learning how to run new equipment troubleshoot production problems to ensure productivity and quality standards are met perform Quality Control (QC) procedures to meet Company standards perform basic maintenance of the bindery machines To get hired at The Bernard Group, you MUST be: able to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing.
