The Opportunity We’re hiring a highly skilled Machine Operator and Machinist who can step into a fast-paced, precision machining environment and make an immediate impact. This is not an entry-level position — we’re looking for an individual who understands machining fundamentals, thrives on producing quality parts, and enjoys working with advanced technology and equipment. You’ll be part of a growing manufacturing team that values autonomy, accuracy, and pride in getting the job done right the first time.
Requirements
- 3+ years of machining experience in a manufacturing or metals environment.
- Hands-on experience with CNC and/or manual lathes and mills (Mazak experience highly preferred).
- Ability to read blueprints, micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with ISO or QMS standards a plus.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines (lathes, mills, Mazak, and related equipment).
- Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and technical drawings with precision and attention to detail.
- Maintain tight tolerances and uphold quality standards in every part produced.
- Perform machine adjustments and tool changes as needed to ensure smooth production flow.
- Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections to verify specifications.
- Monitor production runs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure on-time delivery.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area consistent with company 5S and safety standards.
- Partner with engineers and supervisors to improve processes and increase efficiency.
