About The Position

Pratt & Whitney is working to once again transform the future of flight—designing, building and servicing engines unlike any the world has ever seen. This is a 3rd Shift position: Sunday - Friday 11:15 PM to 7:00 AM. The Machine Operator Level 1 will operate a variety of production machines, including Bakeout, Grit, Detailer, Coater, Pinhole, and PHT. The position requires performing routine operations on the production line to produce blades and/or vanes, as well as performing all quality checks. The operator will follow work instructions, demonstrate understanding of quality and production, and possess broad knowledge of machine shop practices, methods, and techniques.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Previous manufacturing or machining experience.

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of training or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of production machines.
• Perform routine operations on the production line.
• Produce blades and/or vanes.
• Conduct quality checks.

• Utilize advanced shop mathematics and precision measuring instruments.
• Work from drawings and operation sheets.
