Machine Operator III - Swing Shift
About The Position
At Sweet Candy while we have been in business for over 100 years we are future focused and have some of the most advanced confectionary machines in the world. We also have some machines that have been producing candy for over half a century. The Machine Operator level III supports the overall enterprise by operating various production machines per SOP and in compliance with the daily production schedule. They generally lead a team and are responsible for the daily performance of their assigned line. They coordinate through teamwork and collaboration with peers and both upstream and downstream teams including the Line Support, Material Handling, and QA under the general supervision of the Department Lead and Shift Supervisor.
Requirements
- ALWAYS work safely, follow all safety protocols, so all our people go home in the same condition in which they arrived
- Work in compliance with all GMP, Food Safety and Sanitation standards
- Must collaborate well in a multi-cultural, team-oriented environment with a customer service and continuous improvement mindset
- Strong background in troubleshooting factory automation systems
- 2+ years of experience in machine operator
- Communicate effectively and frequently to all stake holders
