About The Position

The Machine Operator II (Moulder) will be responsible for safely operating and feeding a moulder and making small corrections, as necessary. They will safeguard that the machine is accurately producing the products to customer and company specifications.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Demonstratable experience with moulder set-up skills.
• Ability to read calipers and tape measure.
• Must know and understand Basic math including a decimal chart.
• Effective Interpersonal/team, and reasoning skills
• Maintain good housekeeping practices.
• Follow all safety rules and guidelines according to OSHA standard and company policies.
• Use of proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and company approved tools while remaining aware of hazards and maintaining a safe work environment.

Nice To Haves

• 1 – 2 years’ experience in a similar breakout/rough mill or manufacturing atmosphere.
• Prior experience driving industrial powered equipment.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and adjusts moulder to specifications for each product assigned.
• Follows specific directions as defined on route sheet.
• Ensures proper quality of product coming off machine, inspecting product and discarding product that does not meet standards.
• Responsible for maintaining proper moulder speed (100 FPM).
• Communicates any quality issues related to machine operations with Supervisor.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
