About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Production Supervisor to lead and manage daily operations within our lithographic production department. This working supervisor role is responsible for ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across all production activities. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Spectrophotometry and color measurement tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Collaborative mindset with ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Experience with 5S/Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Familiarity with Chempax systems or similar ERP platforms.
  • Minimum of 3 years in ink or chemical manufacturing.
  • Strategic thinker with analytical capabilities and leadership presence.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in compliance with company standards.
  • Provide direct leadership, coaching, and support to production staff.
  • Address employee and customer concerns with professionalism and urgency.
  • Ensure production efficiency and quality by adhering to documented procedures.
  • Schedule production based on customer demand and forecast requirements.
  • Order raw materials and supplies to meet production schedules.
  • Coordinate equipment repairs and preventive maintenance.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, customers, and vendors.
  • Manage inventory levels and maintain accurate records.
  • Plan and conduct employee training and departmental meetings.
  • Implement and sustain quality systems and lean manufacturing practices.
  • Other duties as assigned by management
