Together, we secure everything from family garages to the world's most iconic stadiums and skyscrapers. We currently have openings for Machine Operator II in our Troy, Ohio location. The starting pay for a Machine Operator II is $21.30 plus $1.00 shift differential. Wage increases up to $27.11 after 24 months. Shift Schedule: 2nd shift - Monday through Friday - 3p.m. to 11p.m. 3rd shift - Sunday through Thursday - 11p.m. to 7a.m. Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

  • Qualified candidates must possess a High School diploma or equivalent, must be able to lift 30 - 50 lbs, and have the ability to work at a quick pace.
  • Ability to read and write a limited number of words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers.
  • Ability to count and perform simple math operations to determine information such as weight, temperature, and quantity.
  • Must be able to perform lockout tagout.
  • Ability to meet production and quality standards.
  • Ability to work harmoniously and effectively as part of a work team.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years production experience preferred or experience running machinery.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and calibrate machinery and equipment (i.e. booking press, drum unit, window RUVO, handtools) in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Ensure quality standards by completing KQI’s for both units and the wet system.
  • Set up slabs as appropriate.
  • Ensure inventory is adequate. Inform group leader or supervisory of shortages.
  • Keep area and equipment clean, maintained, and organized in a safe manner.
  • Adhere to all safety training, policies, and procedures.
  • Work safely and report unsafe conditions to appropriate personnel.
