Together, we secure everything from family garages to the world's most iconic stadiums and skyscrapers. We currently have openings for Machine Operator II in our Troy, Ohio location. The starting pay for a Machine Operator II is $21.30 plus $1.00 shift differential. Wage increases up to $27.11 after 24 months. Shift Schedule: 2nd shift - Monday through Friday - 3p.m. to 11p.m. 3rd shift - Sunday through Thursday - 11p.m. to 7a.m. Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

Qualified candidates must possess a High School diploma or equivalent, must be able to lift 30 - 50 lbs, and have the ability to work at a quick pace.
Ability to read and write a limited number of words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers.
Ability to count and perform simple math operations to determine information such as weight, temperature, and quantity.
Must be able to perform lockout tagout.
Ability to meet production and quality standards.
Ability to work harmoniously and effectively as part of a work team.

Nice To Haves

1-2 years production experience preferred or experience running machinery.

Responsibilities

Operate and calibrate machinery and equipment (i.e. booking press, drum unit, window RUVO, handtools) in a safe and efficient manner.
Ensure quality standards by completing KQI’s for both units and the wet system.
Set up slabs as appropriate.
Ensure inventory is adequate. Inform group leader or supervisory of shortages.
Keep area and equipment clean, maintained, and organized in a safe manner.
Adhere to all safety training, policies, and procedures.
Work safely and report unsafe conditions to appropriate personnel.
