The Machine Operator II position at Wolverine Mailing Packaging And Warehousing Inc is responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting automatic mail inserting and injecting machines. The role focuses on ensuring that production meets or exceeds expectations in terms of productivity, timeliness, and quality.

Set up and adjust the machine to operate efficiently.
Oversee output and adjust, as necessary.
Monitor mail inserting machines to ensure all pieces meet established mailing/quality standards.
Ensure that the correct production materials are being used and put away upon completion of job.
Complete production records accurately using computer system.
Balance trays against documentation to ensure correct count.
Demonstrate an understanding of production schedules and priorities.
Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning and lubricating the equipment.
Identify improper machine operation and make basic adjustments.
Follow standard operating procedures to verify mail quality and document integrity.
Complete required record keeping and participate in cross-training.
Knowledge of USPS regulations and mailing standards.
All other duties as assigned.

High School diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Good organizational skills.
Ability to solve mechanical problems and interpret instructions in various forms.
Computer literate, able to work with basic Windows applications.
