About The Position

Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Machine Operator II - 2nd Shift. The core hours are Monday through Friday from 2:00pm to 10:30pm. The rate for this position is 22.00 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, qualifications, and market and business considerations.

Requirements

• Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
• No relocation package offered. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the work location to be considered for this position.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of one (1) year of experience operating brake or stamping presses
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• A minimum of 6 months of experience with forming or bending machines
• A minimum of 6 months of experience reading drawings or blueprints
• Experience confirming that parts conform to specs using measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Understand and proficiently operate assigned machines/presses
• Troubleshoot various machinery problems
• Identify and tag tubs according to shop orders
• QC and document all parts run on machines
• Retrieve and enter data into SAP computer system
• Inventory components and supplies as needed to ensure efficient and timely production
• Keep work areas clean and safe
• Other various duties and responsibilities as may be assigned
