About The Position

The position involves operating and maintaining primarily non-CNC machinery or processes within the department, ensuring efficiency and adherence to production levels. The role requires documentation of device history, service recommendations, and scheduled preventative maintenance, along with performing recommended maintenance on assigned equipment.

Requirements

• One year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Certificate from college or technical school specific to Machine Operation a plus.
• Ability to read, understand and perform standard procedures and work instructions.
• Intermediate mechanical skills preferred.
• Basic math and logic skills required.
• Basic computer skills and software use experience required.
• Clear and effective communication skills via email, telephone, and video conferencing.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains assigned equipment/machinery efficiently, maintaining production KPIs.
• Maintains all required documentation of work; notify quality when inspections are required and report any scrap parts/pieces.
• Notifies manager of any identified issues/errors on processes and/or tools and machines that require repair and/or replacement; notifies quality when inspections are required and reports any scrap parts if applicable.
• Maintains a clean and clutter-free work area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
