The position involves operating and maintaining primarily non-CNC machinery or processes within the department, ensuring efficiency and adherence to production levels.   • Operates and maintains assigned equipment/machinery efficiently, maintaining production KPIs.
  • Maintains all required documentation of work; notify quality when inspections are required and report any scrap parts/pieces.
  • Notifies manager of any identified issues/errors on processes and/or tools and machines that require repair and/or replacement; notifies quality when inspections are required and reports any scrap parts if applicable.
  • Maintains a clean and clutter-free work area.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • One year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Certificate from college or technical school specific to Machine Operation a plus.
  • Ability to read, understand and perform standard procedures and work instructions.
  • Intermediate mechanical skills preferred.
  • Basic math and logic skills required.
  • Basic computer skills and software use experience required.
  • Clear and effective communication skills via email, telephone, and video conferencing.
