With general supervision, the Machine Operator will set up the proper tooling needed in the thermoforming machines and operates the machines per job specifications. What You’ll Be Doing: Sets up thermoforming machines for operation Mounts dies, molds and loads rolls of raw materials into the machine. Engages machine to produce parts and maintains continuous operation. Performs troubleshooting and quality control checks. Performs routine maintenance on machines. Works with Packer/Inspectors to resolve any quality issues as needed. Directs Packers/Inspectors to work in other areas when machine is down for troubleshooting or set up. Maintains a safe, clean and organized work area. Performs other work duties or functions as assigned. Uses and reads calipers. Keeps accurate daily box counts. Runs the specified number of parts on each job. Maintains a good working relationship with inspectors and operators. Knows and verifies specification requirements of each part. Maintains a safe, organized, and clean work area. Assists in setting up machines as needed.
