Machine Operator I
About The Position
In this fast-paced job, you'll follow strict safety guidelines to operate our PakRapid and AutoBag machines to package coins for retail sale - both computer and physical components. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-12 months experience (will train)
- 20/20 corrected vision
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds, more with assistance
- Good hand-eye coordination and ability to use both hands
- Ability to use computer-operated machine systems
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to periodically work on ladders/at slightly elevated levels
- Ability to work overtime as needed
Responsibilities
- Inputting/retrieving information on a computer system for package printing
- Accurately placing coins into designated slots for packaging
- Performing minor adjustments and routine maintenance (film/ribbon changes, etc.)
- Maintaining quality by performing random quality checks throughout the packaging process
- Removing finished product from the machines and organizing accordingly
