  • Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with mechanical aptitude and minimum one-year previous experience.
  • Must be able to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and diagrams in English.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Rotate between multiple machines, lift up to 50lbs occasionally and stand for an entire shift.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience and demonstrated proficiency in operating manufacturing equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work from process sheets, blueprints, setup sheets, setup cards, Gemba boards, and verbal as well as written instructions.
  • Set up, adjust and operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
  • Use calipers, micrometers, depth & height gauges, Sunnen gauges & plug gauges, hand tools and operator manual machines.
  • Set up and/or verify preset gauges for proper calibration as required, inspect own work to ensure quality and quantity standards.
  • Prepare and maintain quality records.
  • Other duties as assigned.
