About The Position

Quanex is looking for a Machine Operator I (Day Shift) - to join our team located in Greenville, Pennsylvania . Hours for this position are Monday - Thursday, 5:00AM - 3:30PM . In this role, you will be operating equipment used to make cabinet door parts such as moulders, sanders, cope machines, and CNC machines. This position requires prior machine operating experience, preferably in woodworking. We Offer You! Ability to Make an Impact Quarterly Bonus Potential Growth Potential What Success Looks Like: Receives job assignments, instructions, and related documentation from supervisor/team lead. Obtains tools, parts, and components for work assigned as necessary. Trains others as requested Monitors accuracy of product specifications, quality requirements, and production standards. Meets objective labor goals and throughput. Responsible for attending work on time and for scheduled hours each day. Maintains accurate production records and resolves shop order discrepancies. Promotes teamwork by cooperating and supporting co-workers Follows all standard operating procedures and notifies the supervisor/team lead of potential procedural improvements. What You Bring: Good organization skills. Ability to handle several instructions at once and prioritize tasks. Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. on a frequent basis. The hourly wage for this position is $16.00- $24.00/hour, experience will be considered.
