The Machine Operator I is responsible for the safe operation of mixing equipment, accurately scaling and combining ingredients according to Bill of Materials (BOM) and Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules, and maintaining a clean and sanitary work area. This role involves ensuring product quality by conducting inspections and adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety, and Superior quality standards (HACCP, FSI, SQF). The operator will also be responsible for interpreting formulas, developing WIPs, and assisting in the training of new mixing area personnel. The position requires strong communication skills, basic math abilities, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced, cold environment, including occasional Saturdays.
