Machine Operator I is an entry-level role designed for individuals looking to start a career in machining and manufacturing. No prior certification is required. In this position, you will receive hands-on training to develop a foundational understanding of machining operations and processes. Working under the guidance of a certified Machine Operator (Level II or higher), you will learn to set up and operate a variety of CNC and manual machines to produce precision parts. You will follow established standard work, safety procedures, and quality requirements while building the skills needed to operate equipment effectively. This role focuses on developing technical proficiency and preparing operators to achieve machine operator certification within 120 days. Operators are encouraged to ask questions, identify issues, and collaborate with experienced operators, lead technicians, supervisors, and engineers to ensure quality and continuous learning. External applicants are eligible for a $1,000 sign on bonus.
