What You’ll Do: As a Machine Operator, you’ll be working directly on the warehouse floor—setting up equipment, operating heavy machinery, and ensuring that all materials are processed to exact specifications.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
Basic math skills; ability to read and write clearly
Previous warehouse or metals industry experience preferred
Certified forklift and crane operation experience
Proficiency with handheld measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
Comfortable using computers for data entry

Responsibilities

Operate material handling equipment such as cranes and forklifts (certification required).
Pull, inspect, and verify product before processing.
Set up and run machines based on setup notes and work orders.
Ensure all processed material meets quality and measurement specifications.
Accurately record inspection data and maintain material ID tags.
Communicate order changes or clarifications with sales reps.
Perform preventative maintenance and general equipment clean-up.
Weigh, package, and label materials correctly.
Identify, record, and segregate scrap or non-conforming material.
Train others when needed and assist with lean/quality initiatives.
Follow all safety protocols—this is a hands-on role near heavy machinery.
