About The Position

Machine Operators ensure the safe, efficient operation of equipment used to manufacture high-quality weatherstripping and specialty products. After completing training, operators are responsible for keeping machines running accurately and supporting technicians with troubleshooting, changeovers, and basic maintenance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Basic reading, math, and writing skills
  • Able to stand, walk, stoop/squat, climb stairs, and reach
  • Lift/move up to 50 lbs
  • Work in a loud environment

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Follow all standard safety procedures
  • Support plant safety initiatives
  • Perform in-process quality inspections
  • Ensure product meets specification tolerances
  • Document inspections and alert technicians to issues
  • Follow standard work for assigned priorities
  • Set up/recalibrate equipment following GMPs and SOPs
  • Notify technicians of production issues
  • Load raw materials; remove finished product
  • Make minor machine adjustments and repairs
  • Record downtime, scrap, repairs, and machine status accurately
  • Other duties as assigned
