About The Position
As a member of the Stryker Corporation team, you will be responsible for operating machinery and inspecting machined components using precision measuring equipment. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to manage time effectively to ensure punctuality and productivity. You will work under general supervision, performing routine and manual tasks that contribute to the overall manufacturing process. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality products while adhering to site-specific quality systems and processes. In this position, you will be responsible for the overall operation of potentially large-scale manufacturing machinery. This includes feeding materials for processing, adjusting settings, performing minor repairs, and pulling finished products from the line. You will also be expected to keep accurate production records and maintenance logs, ensuring that all documentation is up to date and accurate. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will need to effectively work with peers, functional departments, and visitors to achieve common goals. You will also play a part in continuous improvement projects, identifying and reporting safety concerns, production issues, and documentation errors as they arise. Meeting work schedules and overtime requirements, including weekends, is essential to the success of this position.
