About The Position

Dart Container is looking for a new Machine Operator opportunity with a leading company at our Pitney Road, Lancaster, PA facility. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating the production machinery to run efficiently while maintaining our high standard of quality. Shifts available are from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

• For Machine Operator I: Math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Familiarity with converting decimals to fractions.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to observe and understand processes.
• Minimum proficiency in English for effective communication.
• For Machine Operator II: Two years of experience operating manufacturing equipment or equivalent technical school/apprentice experience.
• Previous plant production software experience required; SAP experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Six months of material handling or machine operations experience.
• Technical school or apprenticeship experience.
• Previous powered industrial truck experience.
• For Machine Operator II: Previous powered industrial truck experience.
• Experience in paper converting, chemical/plastics processing, and/or packaging.
