This position is responsible for the basic operation of custom machinery within the manufacturing area. The position requires developed technical skills, analytical skills and knowledge necessary to operate custom and/or automated equipment. While this is a supervised position, the machine operator may provide guidance and training to lower level production personnel including other Machine Operators. Must possess good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with a broad group of cross-functional staff including production team members, QA, Maintenance and Engineering staff members. This position needs to be able to work any assigned shift at any assigned production site based on business needs and may include weekends or overtime work. Our Saxonburg, PA location operates on a Rotating Shift schedule, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off then 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on rotating. 36 hours 1 week, 48 hours the other. so that means that there are 8 hours of OT every other week. Pay is $18.00 per hour. This position also has up to a 5% yearly bonus.
