The Palletizer/Downstream Operator at Amcor is responsible for safely operating various packaging equipment during a 12-hour shift, ensuring that both quality and productivity meet the company's standards. This role emphasizes safety, quality checks, and effective communication with team members and supervisors. The operator must maintain a clean and organized work area, ensure equipment is in good working condition, and complete all required paperwork accurately.

  • Safely operate various packaging equipment on a 12-hour shift.
  • Complete quality checks and communicate any quality issues to the Shift Lead, Shift Supervisor, and Quality Department.
  • Maintain a high degree of housekeeping, keeping equipment and work area clean and organized.
  • Ensure equipment is in good and safe working condition and report mechanical issues to the Shift Lead, Shift Supervisor, and Maintenance.
  • Effectively run the Palletizer and ensure conveyor lines are free of blockages.
  • Accurately complete all required paperwork and submit at the end of the shift.
  • Attend daily shift meetings and training as required.
  • Perform all other tasks assigned.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Prior production-related experience preferred.
  • Ability to effectively communicate safety, quality, and production issues.
  • Ability to work quickly and complete tasks in a fast-paced production environment.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work individually and as part of a team.
