The Machine Operator I is responsible for operating the filler machine and performing daily production activities in a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on maintaining production efficiency, ensuring quality, and minimizing downtime through effective machine operation and maintenance.

Operate the filler machine and perform daily production activities.
Monitor and troubleshoot machine operations to prevent downtime.
Perform filler and filler line changeovers safely and efficiently.
Make adjustments to filler timing and filling as needed.
Prepare equipment for the next run, including size changes.
Analyze process and equipment performance data to improve quality and throughput.
Conduct quality checks and maintain accurate production records.
Perform minor adjustments and routine maintenance on machinery.
Maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness in the work area.
Identify and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience as a machine operator required.
Strong knowledge of the manufacturing process.
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in spreadsheets and reporting software.
Mechanical knowledge and understanding of machinery operations.

Experience with labeler operations.
Ability to perform preventative maintenance and major repairs.
