About The Position

Pioneer Metal Finishing is seeking a dedicated individual to coordinate the proper process baths and materials needed to produce the highest quality product for our customers. This role involves close collaboration with Processing Line/Shift Supervisors to prioritize products and efficiently utilize process tanks while adhering to production schedules. The ideal candidate will strive for consistency in production, identify and escalate issues with raw products, and recommend process adjustments to meet specifications. Effective communication and teamwork are essential, as well as maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
• Effective verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs unassisted
• Ability to differentiate between color variance

Responsibilities

• Coordinate process baths and materials for quality product production
• Work with Processing Line/Shift Supervisors to prioritize product processing
• Strive for consistency from load to load and shift to shift
• Identify and escalate issues with raw product
• Notify supervisors of problems such as excessive oil or corrosion
• Recommend process adjustments to meet product specifications
• Provide proper shift handoff
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in work areas and equipment
• Report equipment problems immediately
• Escalate tooling improvement ideas via facility protocol
