About The Position

Job Responsibilities Set up machine for operation in accordance with established product specifications. Adjust equipment for speed, temperature, etc. as necessary to meet specifications. Load appropriate supplies for continuous feed of material through machine. Visually inspect output for required quality standards. Perform minor troubleshooting of machine operating problems. Record outputs/metrics as required. Minimize material waste to reduce costs. Cross train to gain the ability to work with a variety of equipment. Contribute to Departmental Safety goals by reporting issues with equipment that could cause injury. Communicate issues to the appropriate people as they arise. Fill in when Group Lead is not present. Implement lock/tag out procedures as necessary. Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE); recognize and practice Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP). Keep assigned area clean. Be able to lift 50 lbs. Follow instructions and assist others as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Able to add and divide. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Experience & Skills 6 months of related experience required. Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions. Experience or capable of using Manufacturing operating system. Basic understanding of units of measure Ability to read, understand and follow written specifications, blueprints or schematics. Ability to learn analytical practices, (Understand graphs) Knowledge of QA practices & functions to identify product gaps Education High School/ Equivalent. Work Environment Bend, stoop, lift, wring, wipe, wash, scrub, walk, climb stairs, side-to-side motions (while mopping), push and pull through cool, cold, frozen, hot, dry and sometimes wet areas. Must be able to work in wet and cold environments. Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays. Be able to effectively work in a team environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to stand, walk, push or pull for virtually the entire shift. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Compensation/Benefits We are committed to fair and transparent pay practices. The hourly pay range for this position is $19.7500 to $24.2500 USD per hour. The final hourly rate offered will be based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, internal equity, and market considerations. Additional Compensation: This position may also be eligible for overtime pay, shift differentials, and/or bonus opportunities, as applicable.
