A Machine Operator C sets up and operates all fabrication and inspection equipment necessary to perform routine tasks. This position is an onsite role.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in machine shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Works to verbal, written, video and computer instruction.
• Performs routine inspection using measuring equipment.
• Responsible for filling and draining coolants and oils in equipment.
• Removes waste chemicals and residual metals per hazardous regulations.
• Advances or retrieves product, material and tooling for self and others.
• Simultaneously operates multiple pieces of equipment/processes.
• Unpacks material, inventories and puts away material.
• Marks, identifies parts as required.
• Performs general maintenance and housekeeping of workplace, tools and equipment.
• Maintains records, moves materials and follows safety rules in performance of duties.
• Performs other similar duties as required or directed.
