About The Position

The position involves embracing Lean Manufacturing operating principles to achieve customer satisfaction and operating efficiency. The role requires developing operating systems and methods that focus on the continual reduction of waste, inventory, and defects. The candidate will be responsible for operating all required presses, setting up and changing over all necessary machines, and using various hand tools. Additionally, monitoring machines to ensure proper operation and performing routine maintenance and cleanup as necessary is essential. Quality audit checks must be performed as required by standard work, and moving finished products to aid in the flow of production is also part of the job. Maintaining a clean and orderly workstation by applying the principles of 5S is expected.

Requirements

• Ability to work on all required machinery.
• General knowledge of production methods and machinery.
• Ability to push, pull or lift up to 50lbs.
• Able to stand continually for shift duration while working on certain machines.
• Ability to work overtime when scheduled.
• Ability to work safely to ensure the safety of yourself and those working around you.
