We are looking for an Operator to join our Bindery team in Duncan, South Carolina. You’ll be part of a talented group that collaborates to deliver world-class products to our customers. In this role, you will operate one or more of the following machines: Perfect Binder, Stitcher, Folder, Cutter. This role will handle premium commercial print that requires bindery work before they are packed and shipped to the client. Shifts available: This position follows a rotating schedule of three 12-hour shifts (6 AM - 6 PM), alternating every 4 months between Monday-Wednesday and Thursday-Saturday.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

a two-year Technical or Trade School diploma
three years’ experience as a bindery operator, cutter, folder or booklet maker
worked in a manufacturing environment for 2-5 years
worked in a fast-paced mid-size company
the ability to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis

Responsibilities

complete the job successfully and provide a quality product the customer will want to order again
run bindery equipment to produce premium commercial print
run existing bindery equipment and be open to learning how to run new equipment
troubleshoot production problems to ensure productivity and quality standards are met
perform Quality Control (QC) procedures to meet Company standards
perform basic maintenance of the bindery machines
complete miscellaneous projects and various tasks as requested by management
