The Machine Operator Assistant role involves supporting manufacturing operations by performing various tasks such as stacking products, conducting quality checks, and maintaining a clean workspace. The position requires adherence to safety protocols and the ability to operate manufacturing equipment effectively.

  • Safely operate various manufacturing equipment and follow specific directions.
  • Stack corrugated products and conduct quality checks.
  • Perform material set-up and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Lift, push, or pull items over 50 lbs and navigate stairs as needed.
  • Read a tape measure to 1/16" measurement and perform basic math.
  • Conduct inspections on equipment for proper operation and report any issues.
  • Perform housekeeping and cleaning functions to ensure a debris-free environment.
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and complete tasks accurately and on time.
  • Good communication skills to interact with management and staff.
  • Industrial manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Must be flexible with shifts and available for overtime, including Saturdays.
  • Must pass a background check, pre-employment drug screen, and physical.
  • General mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to perform complete make ready and shut down processes.
  • Understanding of Quality Inspection Criteria and product identification.
