Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Nice To Haves

Plastic Injection Molding background is helpful.

Responsibilities

Operate assembly press/equipment while following company procedures
Review the “Operator Display Board” prior to running production for work instructions and Quality Alerts
Assure product meets established quality criteria of zero non-conformances
Correctly record scrap every hour when instructed
Correct application of all internal and external labels when required, including removal of all old labels from returnable packaging.
Daily review of all applicable quality alerts
Immediately notify Supervisor of all discrepancies to established quality checks (ie, sample boards, inspection instructions, SPC, etc.).
Communicate production and quality issues/concerns with associates during communication meetings.
Keep work area clean and organized.
Responsible for following all internal and OSHA required safety procedures.
Adherence to all company policies and procedures (ie, Quality Manual, Associate Handbook, etc)
