Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Basic math skills required.
  • Good communication skills in both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical, numerical and reasoning abilities.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to establish credibility and be decisive – but able to recognize and support the organization’s preferences and priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-3 years’ experience in mechanical ability.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in safety rules and maintenance instructions.
  • Intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Operate various card production equipment to personalize debit/credit cards according to customers’ specifications.
  • Work with other operators, technicians, and supervisory staff to achieve daily / monthly goals.
  • Perform minor equipment maintenance and adjustments per written and oral instructions.
  • Work independently, performing quality inspections on own work according to production standards.
  • Identify potential production and quality problems, recommending remedial, corrective or contingency action.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • Confirm work receipt.
  • Formulate and implement work priority decisions.
  • Exceed production output and quality standards.
  • Attend appropriate training and meetings as required.
  • Meet safety standards.
